This opportunity is ideal for someone with practical AV experience who enjoys working across a wide variety of events. You will be involved in preparing, installing, operating and maintaining professional audio-visual equipment while working alongside an experienced technical team to deliver outstanding event experiences.
You will play an important role in delivering live events from initial preparation through to final breakdown. Working with audio, lighting and video systems, you will ensure equipment is installed correctly, operates reliably and meets client expectations.
As your experience grows, you will also provide guidance to junior team members and help maintain the company’s technical standards.
Description
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, transport, install and dismantle AV equipment for live events and corporate functions.
• Operate audio, lighting, projection and video systems during live productions.
• Configure and troubleshoot technical equipment before and during events.
• Support clients and colleagues to ensure all technical requirements are delivered successfully.
• Assist with warehouse organisation, equipment maintenance and stock management.
• Mentor less experienced technicians where required.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure every event is delivered to a high standard.
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience working with professional AV equipment or live events.
• Good understanding of audio systems, lighting, projection and basic video workflows.
• Familiarity with equipment such as wireless microphones, projectors, presentation software and AV signal routing.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and solving technical issues under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• A full driving license would be advantageous.
